Freshmen Blue 20- Clear Lake 32

On a cold and rainy night the Bucs came up short in their last game of the year. Falls opened the game with a successful onside kick. They would end up scoring on their first possession. The Bucs first drive went 50 yards mostly on the ground but then had a costly turnover. The Bucs first score of the game came at the beginning of the 2nd quarter when Kelan Pullen found Jose Trevino on a screen for 25 yards.
The Bucs 2nd score of the game, with little time left before halftime, came on a 38 yard pass from Pullen to Trevino down the sideline. Half time score Falls 25 - BWood 12.

Starting the 2nd half on defense, the Bucs held Falls to two 3 and outs on their first 2 drives. Unfortunately the Bucs offense wasn't able to take advantage. Jose Trevino did get loose for a 65 yard run to put the Bucs inside the 5 yard line but that run was called back for a holding penalty. Late in the 4th quarter the Bucs offense found the endzone again on a 2 yard run off the edge by Kelan Pullen. This Touchdown was set up by a 50 yard run from Jose Trevino. The 2pt conversion was good (Pullen to Kozak). The offensive line did an awesome job last night, creating holes for our Running backs to run through .
