The Brazoswood Buccaneers JV football team played at home against the Northbrook Raiders last night. The Bucs defended their home turf with a dominating 56-0 win. The Bucs started the game off getting the ball and on the next play Isiah Rollerson broke a 70 yard run for a TD to open up the scoring. Shortly after the score the Bucs defense got on the board with a pick 6 by Eastyn Dotson. The defense played well all night not giving up a single point and limiting first downs for northbrook. The defense caused 2 fumbles all by Wyatt Guidry, and had 2 interceptions (Eastyn Dotson, and Jayden Payton-Winfree). Overall it was an outstanding defensive game by all players on the field.

The offense was firing on all cylinders last night as they kept driving the ball down the field and couldn't be held off the scoreboard.. Noah Phillips had a great game with multiple completions, as well as Kedrick Green who was dominant with his legs and also had a nice pitch and catch to Rylan Erp for a 45 yard TD completion. Braylon Burby had a standout performance on offense with his 2 TDs, both for over 50 yards, the last touchdown was highlighted by an outstanding effort to break multiple tackles and help the Bucs score right before half. The offensive line was great for the Bucs last night, they were dominant to help the Bucs keep running the ball at will. The Bucs will be back in action on Thursday Goose Creek Memorial at GGM HS in Baytown Tx.
