Freshmen Blue 22- Dickinson 29

The Bucs offense scored 21 points versus Dickinson last night in a hard fought game. The Bucs opened the game, driving the length of the field to the Dickinson 4 before throwing a Interception in the endzone on 4th down. Kelan Pullen connected with Miguel Nava on the drive for a 47 yard gain, Nava was tripped up on the 5 yard line. After a score from Dickinson and a 3 and out by the Offense, the Bucs Defense came up with a huge 4th down stop in Dickinson territory. Three plays later Kelan Pullen hits Shaydon Coulter on a 33 yard Touchdown pass. (2pt conversion was successful, Pullen to Coulter).
After a Dickinson score and missed extra point, Jose Trevino took the ensuing kickoff up the middle for a 88 yard Touchdown. The 2pt conversion was unsuccessful. (Bucs 14 - Dickinson 13)
After giving up a Touchdown to Dickinson in the 3rd quarter, The Bucs offense got back on the board at the beginning of the 4th . Scoring on a 2 yard Touchdown run by Jose Trevino. (2pt conversion was good, Trevino to Nava). Bucs 22 - Dickinson 21. The following drive by Dickinson ended at the goalline by a huge interception by Caleb Jefferson. The Bucs unfortunately were not able to hold on to the lead and gave up a late score to Dickinson.
