The JV Blue Buccaneers traveled to Baytown Sterling on Thursday night. The Bucs defense played a great game shutting out the Sterling offense for all 4 quarters. Defensive End Mason Folkert pressured the Sterling Quarterback all game long, adding up several sacks and tackles for loss. Safety Jalen Franklin came up with a big play intercepting a deep pass late in the 4th quarter. Offensively, the Bucs controlled the game up front from solid Offensive line play by Colton Donner and Brennan Bohon. Running Back Sherman Wade ran the ball hard all game long. QB Danner Bowles stepped up and scored 2 rushing touchdowns in the first half for the Bucs.
The Bucs get the win with the final score of 13-0.
Next week the JV Blue team will play at Home for the first time this season against Cinco Ranch.
