Moving to 3-0 on the season, the Lady Bucs defeated Texas City, 40-28. With a fast start, the Lady Bucs were able to hold off a strong rally from the Stingrays in the second half. It was a great defensive effort by the entire team , which held Texas City to 17% shooting on the night. Leading the Lady Bucs were Rae'Vyn Jackson (9 points & 3 rebs), Aaliyah Wiley (8 points & 12 rebs) and Macy Leger (7 points & 8 rebs). It will be a quick turn around, as the Lady Bucs take on Aldine at 2:30 on Saturday at Brazoswood Gym.
